2024 Apple Cup Champion 6 Apple Cup Titles, 2020 West Coast Hall of Fame Nominee - "The Legend" Garrett Evans (age 67)
"The first race I ever raced in was the apple cup in yakima in 1977. I went to yakima prior to that race as a fan when I was in high school  and got to see Don Dowdy , Harry Jefferson , Niel Newberry , Ron Raton , any many more. I respect the history and the many people who have been part of the apple cup and what it has meant . I am glad TCR has keep the tradition going. Its usually the first race of the season in eastern wa. and kicks off the sounds and smells of a sport we all love" - Garrett Evans (6 Time Apple Cup Champion)
